Self-defense is about the idea to strengthen one's own physical and mental abilities. Concrete personal self-assertion and defense strategies are developed to enforce and defend boundaries. The recognition and mitigation of a dangerous situation and the mental preparation for behavior in case of emergency are also part of the course. Basics of self-defense are taught.
